The timer functions are identical. The PRO2000 sits in a deep case in order to accomodate an XLR jack. The remote signal light that is supplied with the PRO2000 is fitted with a pigtail XLR plug on a 10-foot cord. Signal light-timer connection can be made with either XLR or CAT5 cable. The PRO2000 also has an EBY jack so that it may drive D'San's older large Audience Signal Lights. The AV2000 sits in a slim case and, like the signal light contains twin, RJ45 jacks. Connection between the signal light and the AV2000, however, may also be made via XLR cable by using D'San XLR-Cat5 adapters (See Limitimer Accessories, Part KES881 and KES882)
